Merino is so soft, fine and absorbs moisture that at a minimum (for maximum comfort) it should always be worn as the inner layer.

Wear it underneath your merino bodysuit and rest assured that in merino layers your baby's skin can always breathe, and torso and tummy will stay cozy and warm.
On warmer days use the vest again under a cotton bodysuit and you can still get all the merino benefits.

The given size can be expanded much past the assigned age due to the elasticity in the rib merino.
